RHEMA FOR LIVING OFM, DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE FROM THE DESK OF GOD’S ORACLE APOSTLE JOHNSON SULEMAN.
TUESDAY, 4TH FEBRUARY 2020.
BIBLE READING: ACTS 10-12.
TOPIC: PURSUE THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD (PART 3).
TEXT: “And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.” Daniel 11:32.
When prayer points for exploits are raised, people pray their hearts out shouting at the top of their voices, but when prayers points focused on knowing God are raised, people become less passionate. But the truth is that, it is the knowledge one has of God resident in him that determines the exploits he does. Exploits are for those who know their God personally, not those who heard about him or were told about him. Those who know their God are first strong on the inside and then, they go on to display what they know on outside, which are exploits.
Child of God, seek to know God and pursue knowing Him.
Knowing your God is the root which produces the fruits, exploits. If you want to be strong in the Lord, that is a heavy-weight Christian who cannot be swept by any wind of doctrine or any threat of the adversary, you must pursue the knowledge of God. Those who know God are strong in the Lord and in the power of His might (Ephesians 6:10). Like Caleb and Joshua, they say, “Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it” while the other ten spies represent those who lack personal knowledge of their God.
My Father, My Father, as I begin to pray now, help me to know you more, Lord.
