BIBLE READING: MORNING: JEREMIAH 40,41,42. EVENING: HEBREWS 2
TOPIC: SECRETS OF HIGH FLYERS (PART 5)
TEXT: “The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.” Psalms 25:9
Do you desire greatness in life? Then be meek. It takes meekness to be instructed; it takes meekness to be teachable. Headstrong people can’t be instructed; their stubbornness makes them miss divine guidance which is the secret of highflying in the kingdom. Psalms 32:8 says, “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.”
God is the one who knows the path of life and reveals it to us through His guidance. He knows when, where, how etc. Of all we need to do to arrive destiny, so why won’t we humble ourselves under His mighty hands to take us through?
Isaiah 48:17 says, “Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.” If you can humble yourself under His mighty hand of guidance, if only you can acknowledge the very fact that you do not know the way and completely yield to Him and desire to know, you will arrive destiny victoriously.
Child of God, we have the ever working formula to greatness in life. Take advantage of it and soar to the top. God delights in the prosperity of His servant and meekness is a major characteristic of God’s servants.
My Father, My Father, as I begin to pray, baptize me afresh with the Spirit of meekness.
