SELF IMPROVEMENT BY BARR UKONU ADA MERCY
There is always room for self improvement. Albert Einstein said, “The example of great and pure individuals is the only thing, that can lead us to Nobel thoughts and deeds” Thomas Morell said ”
The first great gift we can bestow on others is a good example”. We all need to ask ourselves this questions and answer it correctly, if the world is filled with people like you, how do you think the world will look like? If everyone is like you, will the world be the best place to be in? If you are a daughter, son, wife, husband and the home is filled with people like you, will you have the best home? If every employer have an employee like you, will it ever grow, be productive and have the best result?
This are questions to answer correctly within you. If the answer is in the affirmative, then you are doing a great job, but if no? There is room for self improvement, in every thing we do in life we can always improve on it.
If you are not happy/comfortable with the result you are getting, then you can always improve on it, the truth is that you just have to improve yourself to get better on what you are doing and to do that, you have to;
1. Motivate yourself daily: when you wake up every morning, say positive things to yourself, Jim Rohn said motivation starts up the day, while habit keeps you going. You can’t get up in the morning angry at everything and expect the day to be great, its not possible, rather wake up energetic and excited about the day, the things you set out to achieve. It is only with a plain mind that you can scrutinize your daily activity, and then know where you got it wrong for the day, to improve on it the next day.
2. Mind your daily habit. Always imbibe productive habits daily that will yield the required result and always ensure to journal your activity, for further revisiting, to identify area of strength and weakness, in order to improve on it.
3. Cultivate the reading habit. You have to read your way through success. Form the daily habit of imputing knowledge, because readers are leaders, who widen their knowledge and horizon on their chosen field for success.
4. Increase your Focus, by shedding every form of distraction, excuses, procrastination and follow your course to logical conclusion.
NOTE: The room for self improvement is always wide open, you don’t need formal education to be self improved, in any aspect of your life, all you need is a conscious effort and be disciplined about it.
